Second Year Welcome Week

What is Welcome Week?

Welcome Week is an in-person program for second-year students who weren't able to experience a traditional kick off to their Western degree due to the pandemic. With a focus on social connection, campus spirit, and wayfinding, Welcome Week will help returning second-year students truly thrive at Western.

Please note that Welcome Week is a dry event (no alcohol will be served, regardless of legal drinking status).

Who can participate?

Students who are in second year and returning to Western (Main Campus, Huron, and King's) are eligible to participate.

*Transfer students are not included and should participate in Orientation Week

How does it work?

At registration, you can select which Welcome Week events you'd like to attend. You'll select a time to pick up your wristband which will get you in to every event (you'll need to keep your wristband on for all three days of programming).

If an event appears to be sold out, that's ok! You're welcome to come to the venue and if we have capacity, we are happy to take attendees on a walk-in basis.

Tip: Log in to Western Connect before clicking through to the event registration.
